The Ghost Pirates are not a singular boss — they are a swarm encounter. The sheer volume of entities generated during the raid practically mandates crowd-control armaments. The Magma Staff from the Volcano is widely treated as a near-requisite tool.

Pre-requisites

Build a small beachhead fortification before disembarking. Open-field melee against the swarm is a death sentence. Have the Magma Staff banked from the Volcano clear.

Beachhead Wave

First ranged flintlock volley from the tree line. Use the Magma Staff's Lava Pool to control the tree-line fire.

Closing Swarm

Pirates collapse to melee range with cutlass combos. Magma Staff's burn DoT thins the swarm faster than any other weapon. The Steel Cutlass Whirlwind is a strong backup.

Cursed Reinforcement

Spectral entities spawn from the centre altar. Kite the swarm outward first, then collapse on the altar.

Captain

Single champion entity with 2× HP and AoE knockback. Save Healing Potions for this phase. Bring bandages and at least six cooked food items.

The cooldown

If you wipe, the Cursed Island cooldown is 5 in-game days. Don't burn the encounter on a half-prepared raid party.
